◆ Belt plates shall be Maryland state seal oval plates or rectangle style
◆ All leather accoutrements shall be black. Marylanders preferred black leather. They even went to the extent of dying neutral leather black. Refer to our “Supporting Evidence” page. ***PLEASE BUY QUALITY MADE LEATHERS
◆ Wearing cartridge box on belt or shoulder slings are both permitted.

CANTEENS

• Wooden Gardner canteens, Union “smooth side” canteens, or variants of period correct tin drum canteens are all permitted.

HAVERSACKS

• Richmond Depot style, Muslin style, and Union tarred Haversacks are all permitted

KNAPSACKS AND BLANKET ROLLS

• Kibler packs, Pace packs, various period correct “militia” style hard packs, and Federal knapsacks are all authorized.

• Blanket rolls using period correct style blankets are authorized.
